With Geun-young Moon, Keun-Suk Jang, Jae-wook Kim, Kim Hyo Jin. Wi Mae Ri is the cheerful, pragmatic daughter of a failed businessman who had grown used to being constantly on the move to escape from loan-sharks. She becomes fast friends with the free-spirited indie singer Kang Moo Kyul when she nearly ran him over in a car. Meanwhile, her father Wi Dae Han is saved from his debtors by his old.
Jung Suk was once in love with Mae Ri’s mother, and he wants Mae Ri to marry his son, Byun Jung In (Kim Jae Wook), who is well-educated, handsome and comes from a good family. The problem is that Mae Ri is in love with bad-boy rocker Kang Moo Kyul (Jang Geun Suk), who renounces his carefree lifestyle – and even rejects his ex-girlfriend, actress Seo Joon (Kim Hyo Jin) – and says he’s ready to settle down with Mae Ri. Will Mae Ri be able to follow her heart, against her father’s wishes, or will her sense of family duty prove to be too strong?
